Raj has over thirty years of work experience with proven track record in leadership roles across HR, Consulting and IT solutioning, spanning multicultural, highly-matrixed assignments in India, USA, UK and APAC.  At Effilor he is involved in co-creation and delivery of Strategy, Consulting, Organization Development, Coaching and Leadership Excellence initiatives for clients across public & private sector IT, manufacturing, and services businesses. 

Raj brings an integrated approach to engagements, blending his consulting and coaching background, using analytical inquiry and integrative insights to deliver solutions to clients., He is known for his collaborative and balanced demeanour, drawing on management theory and behavioural psychology to create the ‘art of the possible’ for all stakeholders.

His areas of focus include individual and team coaching for leadership and career transitions, change management, personal development, mindfulness and emotional balance.  He is an alumnus of XLRI and a Fulbright Fellow from Carnegie Mellon. His professional certifications include the International Coaching Federation-PCC credential, Cultural Orientations Framework (COF) for leading & coaching across cultures, and Marshall Goldsmith certification related to facilitation & change. 

Raj is currently an Independent Board Director of Unifi Mutual Fund Trustee Co. Pvt. Ltd. He is an active member of the International Coaching Federation, and has served on the Board of ICF Chennai Chapter for 4+ years in various roles, including as President. He has been an active champion & ally for DE&IB initiatives: as part of the ‘Embrace’ LGBTQIA+ network at Cognizant, program mentor for the Centre for Gender Equality & Inclusive Leadership (CGEIL), co-founder of Chennai Mentors and member of ‘Sweekar – the Rainbow Parents’ group. Outside of work enjoys yoga, reading and golf.
