About

Shankar brings over three decades of hands-on experience helping organisations grow, transform, and lead with purpose. His work spans IT Services, SaaS, Retail, Utilities and Manufacturing, with a unique blend of business strategy, sales execution, and leadership development.

What drives Shankar is a deep curiosity about how people, systems, and strategy come together to create sustainable impact.

He believes in meeting organisations where they are, and guiding them towards where they want to be , with sharp thinking, grounded execution, and human-centred leadership.

At Effilor, Shankar partners closely with Founders, CEOs, and Sales Leaders of mid-sized firms, and with L&D leaders in larger enterprises. He helps craft and activate strategy, build future-ready sales engines, and develop leadership teams that can scale impact.

His clients value his strategic mindset, ability to simplify complexity, coach for performance, and design interventions that create long-term behaviour change.

Outside of work, Shankar is a budding novelist and a beginner guitarist. His family, however, remains unconvinced of either venture.

Signature Engagements

Each of our engagements is an opportunity to co-create meaningful outcomes with our clients. Here are a few highlights from Shankar’s journey:

  • Co-designed and facilitated a Business Mindset shift program for 100+ mid-managers across 3 locations -> strengthening accountability and commercial orientation.

  • Advised a mid-sized SaaS firm on GTM strategy and positioning, resulting in sharper customer segmentation and a restructured sales motion.

  • Led a large-scale Digital Enterprise program to align business objectives with delivery and governance structures. This helped the renewable energy firm recalibrate its transformation strategy, clarify ownership across business & IT and course-correct its program outcomes.
