Coaching of Delivery & Functional Leaders

The Challenge
The client was facing headwinds on growth. The Leaders were challenged on two fronts:

Building Self-awareness in behavioural development
-
Improving Alignment of Senior Management & Organizational strategy
The Approach
A key enabler to putting the company back on growth track was to develop its L-2 Delivery & Functional leads to develop behavioural & leadership competencies to help scale the company.
Effilor helped each Leader with interpretation of their individual detailed competency assessment report covering mindset, people attributes and leadership traits. Once the report was understood, each Delivery Leader prepared an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and specific coaching goals, covering 3 to 5 behavioral areas, which were then addressed through a structured set of coaching sessions.

Coaching was undertaken with reference to specific coaching goals and related behaviours. A consultative coaching approach was used, combining non-directive & reflective deliberation, with proven frameworks related to specific competency areas as needed.

An outside-in perspective was offered where needed to help each Leader to prepare an action plan based on the IDP.

A mid-point check-in was used to seek self-assessment inputs from each leader, as well as from Senior Management on behaviour changes observed.

A final check-in towards the end of the program allowed the Senior Management to validate specific observed behaviour changes and address any gaps that still existed
